Prologue

The Prologue marks the official start of the Junior World Adventure Racing Championship.
This is an introductory route of approximately 20 km, comprising two parts:

• the Desjardins Youth Raid intended for young people aged 13 to 17

• the Senior Raid for those aged 55 and over

The Prologue is a mandatory step for international athletes who are paired with teams from the Desjardins Youth Raid.
The athletes act as guides and mentors, sharing their experience and know-how while discovering the cultural and human richness of the territory.

This day launches the adventure under the banner of intergenerational encounters, mutual support, and discovery.
